Body and Gender Critical reflections

Resumen

El objeto de este trabajo consiste en, mediante una hermenéutica todo lo exhaustiva que sea posible, explanar la relevancia temática del cuerpo para los saberes interdisciplinarios que lo toman como objeto de estudio. Los
autores y autoras seleccionados nos hacen ver que la perspectiva de género es inclusiva y no excluyente, incluso en aquellos autores que son comúnmente tomados como la quinta esencia de la razón heteropatriarcal y, en consecuencia, despreciadores del cuerpo. Así las cosas, la noción de cuerpo encarnado, se constituye en uno de los ejes del moderno pensamiento de género que viene a integrar en una categoría superior, la de género humano, a la más que productiva noción moderna de género social, que ha producido, desde los años setenta del siglo pasado, un buen número de estudios feministas y sobre las mujeres. Finalmente, concluimos con un tratamiento de las implicaciones éticas de la relación cuerpo/género, porque lo que está en juego es la libertad humana.

Abstract
The object of this paper is to explain, through the use of carefully man-aged hermeneutics, the thematic relevance of the body for interdisciplinary knowledge that takes it as an object of study. The selected authors allow us to see that, the gender perspective is inclusive and not exclusive even in those authors who are commonly taken as the quintessence of hetero-patriarchal reasoning and, consequently, despisers of the body, thus, the notion of em-bodied body, is one of the axis of modern gender thinking that comes to merge in a higher category, the human gender. The more than productive modern notion of social gender, which since the ninety seventies, has produced a good number of feminist studies and regarding women. Finally, we conclude with a treatment of the ethical implications of the body / gender relationship, because what is at stake is human freedom.
